Barnfox Member Steve and Jennifer Shiffman  has very kindly offered for us to meet at their residence with complimentary post ride drinks and nibbles. This ride will is beginner to intermediate friendly with some hills and a steady pace. \nWhat to expect:\n\n A 17-mile route that has us setting out from Claverack (10 minutes outside of Hudson). \nA beginner to intermediate pace. “A little further\, a little faster” — we heard you! We’ll up the pace\, a little bit\, for this second ride. It’ll be zippy\, but not crazy. Whereas the first ride was relatively flat\, this one will likely include a couple hills.\nHow-to prepare: Have a meal and plenty of water before heading over. And bring some with you as well. A bit of sugar will help you get over any of those Claverack and Ghent hills. Bring a spare tube! We’re currently 1-for-1 on getting flats during our BFCC group rides.\nPost Ride Drinks & Nibbles: Steve has characteristically gone above and beyond by offering some post-ride drinks and nibbles. Once we get to Tivoli\, we’ll double back\, taking County Rte 6 to Church Ave\, back to Germantown.\nA casual pace + beginner friendly. There are a few sections where people can test their legs if they want. But this is a NO DROP ride: no woman or man left behind. \nWhat to bring: Pack water\, a tire and a small snack in case the munchies kick in (Clif bar or something that would will be plenty). And don’t skip breakfast or morning water! \nFor those eager to crank out a couple extra miles beforehand\, I’ll be setting out from Hudson at 8am. This will be a faster\, ~15 mile ride to G-town.
